Grow traffic organically
Why people can’t find your product, and how Amplibee fixes it: we scan, list the gaps, study your competitors, get you listed and plan the content. All organic, from growing your domain ranking to being discovered by the people who need you.
We scan your presence
We read your site the way a search engine and an AI assistant would, and check every place people could find you.
| Website and technical SEO | We scan |
| Directories that list you | We scan |
| Search indexing and page speed | We scan |
| Mentions on Hacker News, GitHub and the web | We scan |
The check, step by step
Research your product
We fetch your homepage, /pricing and /about with plain GET requests and read the title, meta description and headings. The one-liner comes from your meta description when there is one. Everything is shown to you and every field is editable before it is used.
Find competitors
You type your competitor domains. Each one goes through the same address checks as your own site and the same scan, so the report can show where they are listed or mentioned and you are not. If you leave the list empty, the scan still runs and the competitor comparison is left out of the report.
Scan visibility
We check which directories list you, how many pages a site: search returns, how often your domain is mentioned on Hacker News, GitHub and the web, 17 technical basics on your homepage, mobile speed from Google PageSpeed Insights, and your rank in the Tranco list. Each measurement writes its own line to the log.
Score and rank gaps
Discoverability, buzz, trust and technical scores combine into one number out of 100. Each gap is ranked by severity and by the points the score would gain if you fixed it. The score and your top 3 gaps are free.
Plan fixes
Each gap is matched to a fix type. Most fixes are free and point to a blog post or a directory submission page. The plan lists the directories and platforms that do not list you yet, and a month of blog and content topics that you can adjust as competitors change what they publish. The full gap list, the competitor comparison and the fix plan unlock when you sign in.
Launch
Directory gaps can be fixed by submitting your product, which you can do yourself or let us do on a paid plan, up to 150+ directories. Gaps about mentions and reviews can be fixed by creators who post, write or engage. For those, the report offers a campaign with a draft brief and a suggested starting budget, and we get it done for you. You review and change both first, and nothing is bought from this page.
What we request from your site
Every request is a plain GET from AmplibeeBot. We read your homepage, /pricing, /about, /sitemap.xml, /robots.txt and the image address in your og:image tag. We never log in, submit forms or run your scripts.
- Addresses must resolve to public internet addresses. Private, loopback, link-local and cloud metadata ranges are refused, and the check repeats on every redirect.
- Only http and https on ports 80 and 443.
- At most 3 redirects, 8 seconds per request, 2 MB per response.
- We read robots.txt first and skip any path it disallows for AmplibeeBot. A robots.txt that returns a server error is treated as a full disallow.
To keep the bot out entirely, add these two lines to your robots.txt:
User-agent: AmplibeeBot
Disallow: /What we ask third parties
- Google PageSpeed Insights receives your homepage address to run a mobile performance test.
- Hacker News search (Algolia) and GitHub search receive your domain name.
- One search provider receives queries such as
site:yourdomain.com. The free check runs at most 2 queries. The full check runs at most 30. - Domain rank is looked up live from the public Tranco list of top websites. Only the domain name is sent.
