What is GalleryDock?
GalleryDock is online client gallery software. A photographer or filmmaker uploads finished photos and videos to a gallery and shares one link with the client.
The client can look through the work, mark favorites, leave comments and download what you allow, all in the same gallery instead of across email threads and file links.
How does client feedback work?
Clients choose their favorite images and comment on individual photos inside the gallery. On videos they can comment at the exact timecode.
- Favorites and image selection stay in the gallery
- Comments are attached to a specific image
- Video comments point to the moment in the video they refer to
Can I sell photos and prints?
Yes. Each account has a gallery shop for digital images and photo prints, so clients can buy extra work from the gallery they are already viewing.
The shop fee per sale depends on the plan: 15% on Free, 10% on Base and 5% on Pro, according to the pricing on the GalleryDock website.
How do I control access and downloads?
You can password-protect a gallery, set the download options for photos and videos, and show a watermark made from your own logo.
- Embed galleries in your own website
- Use your own logo in galleries on paid plans
- Hide GalleryDock branding on Base and Pro
Who is GalleryDock for?
It is for photographers and filmmakers who deliver work to clients: weddings, portraits, families, brands, events and video projects.
Alternatives to GalleryDock
Many photographers deliver work with a cloud folder or a download link. Dedicated client gallery services add proofing, branding and selling. GalleryDock sits in that group and puts video feedback and website embedding alongside photo galleries.

How GalleryDock compares
| Option | Best for | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| GalleryDock | Photographers and filmmakers who want photo and video galleries, client feedback and a shop in one place | Paid plans are needed for unlimited galleries, larger storage and hiding GalleryDock branding |
| Pixieset | Photographers who want a long-established gallery and store product | Features, storage and fees depend on the plan, so compare them with your workflow |
| ShootProof | Photographers who want proofing and a sales workflow | Plans and limits differ from GalleryDock, so check pricing before you commit |
| Cloud folder or download link | A quick one-off delivery with no branding or selling | No image selection, comments on single images, watermarks or shop |
GalleryDock is a fit when you deliver both photos and videos and want client selection, timecoded feedback and print sales in the same gallery. If you only send occasional files, a plain download link may be enough.
