What is PacksLeft?
PacksLeft is software for personal trainers who sell session packs. It tracks each client’s sessions left, takes bookings and handles payment for the next pack.
It is built for one trainer with a book of clients, not for a studio, and it replaces notes apps, spreadsheets and payment requests.
How does it work?
You add a client and package, the client books on a private link, you tap Log after the session, and the client rebuys before the count reaches zero.
- Add a client with package size, price and expiry in about twenty seconds, or import from a CSV
- The client picks a 1:1 time on their link; you log the session with one tap and can undo it
- The client sees the priced packages and payment methods you enable and pays you directly
- You get a low-credit email before a package runs out
Do clients need an app?
No. Clients get a private link that opens in the browser already on their phone.
It shows sessions left and lets them book the next 1:1. The count on the trainer’s phone and the count on the client’s link are the same number.
How do payments work?
Clients can pay by Venmo request or by card through your own Stripe account. PacksLeft takes no percentage of the sale.
With Venmo, you confirm the payment and PacksLeft adds the sessions. With Stripe, sessions are added when Stripe confirms. Your provider’s fees apply, and you can still record cash, Zelle and bank payments by hand.
How much does it cost?
One plan: $14.99 a month or $149.99 a year, after a 30-day free trial with no card.
It includes unlimited clients, packages and sessions. If you stop paying, client links keep working for 30 days, and you can export your data as CSV.
Alternatives to PacksLeft
Trainers keep track of session packs in notes apps, spreadsheets, coaching apps or schedulers. PacksLeft focuses on one job: how many sessions each client has left, and getting the next pack sold.
- Notes app or spreadsheetA list or sheet of clients with sessions left.

How PacksLeft compares
| Option | Best for | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| PacksLeft | A solo in-person trainer who sells session packs and wants clients to see sessions left without installing an app | It is built for one trainer, not for a studio or for programming workouts |
| Notes app or spreadsheet | A trainer with only a few clients | Clients cannot see their own balance, and counts and payments drift apart |
| Trainerize | Coaches who deliver programs and tracking through an app | Clients use an app, and offline clients get no view |
| Acuity Scheduling | Trainers who mainly need online booking | Balances are checked by code or sent by email rather than shown on a private link |
PacksLeft is a fit if you are a solo trainer selling session packs and want one count shared with each client. If you deliver workout programs through an app, or run a studio, a coaching platform may suit better.
